睿的彩纸艺术

胥恒睿，1990年出生于北京，2012年毕业于美国威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校经济系，并在马里兰大学金融专业深造研究生。曾在纽约投资银行、地产开发、表演及销售行业工作。他见识广，接触过各种各样有趣的人，然而，这些经历并没有满足他对艺术的渴望。他拿起画板，开始进行属于自己的创作。本书便是他艺术旅程的第一小站。胥恒睿现居纽约，从事绘画与设计工作。

Xu Hengrui, born in Beijing in 1990, graduated from University of
Wisconsin – Madison in 2012, majoring in Economics; and took post-graduate
course of Finance in University of Maryland. He once worked consecutively in
the fields of investment banking, real estate development, acting and sales. He
met many interesting people throughout his professional career. However, all
this time deep inside, his soul was craving for an art path that was never
fulfilled.  He bought a drawing board and
started creation of art. This book illustrates his initial achievements.
Currently Xu Hengrui resides in New York and works on drawing and designing.

Through his words and paper art completed
by dancing pen and brush, Hengrui expressed his thought and realization.
Hengrui’s design represents his attempts in dealing with the collision of
emotion and ration, tradition and fashion, popularity and personality. It is
not only a way to record his way of experiencing art creation, but also to make
us think about our lives of the art in future.

The patterns and colors in the paper convey
people’s emotions. It is a cultural expression. The creation of paper with
pattern requires the designer to perceive and think of life. Xu Hengrui’s paper
design was born within his heart. He combined his understanding of life and
aesthetical sense to express his design idea and the power of patterns. Also,
he blended his taste of life and quality of life into his life style of art.
