小学阶段是培养学生学习习惯的最佳时期，而书写教育又是培养学生学习习惯的最佳途径之一。
《小学英语新课标》中明确指出: 听、说、读、写是学习和运用语言必备的四项基本语言技能。其中对书写能力要求为：学生应具有良好的书写习惯，能在四线格上正确、熟练、清楚地书写字母、单词、句子，并做到大小写、笔顺、词距、标点等正确、规范。 从现代教育理论角度看，教育的目的不单单是传授知识，更重要的是培养学生独立获取知识和运用知识的能力。书写训练不仅仅能提高学生的语言自我效能感，还能够培养学生的自主学习能力。从美育的角度来看，把字母、单词、句子写得美观、规范，不但能巩固学生的英语知识，更能培养学生对美的欣赏能力。鉴于此，我们精心编写了这套《我型我秀•小学英语书写规范训练手册》。
