细读这本《钱伟长学术论文集(第1卷1937-1955)》，我们可以体会到钱伟长先生在长期科研实践中形成的治学理念，这就是：高瞻远瞩，锐意创新，求真务实。他一向认为，科学研究要从实际出发，为社会发展和学科发展服务，要高瞻远瞩地根据实际需要来选题；而科学研究必须从基础研究人手，不能就事论事，照抄照搬，必须狠下功夫，大力从事机理性探索，不断提出新概念、新方法，所得到的结果必须接受实践的检验。从文集中的每一篇论文中，我们都可以看到创新精神的光芒。
