Map
1. Do you (ever) use a map?
Yeah I do. I mean, I usually use a GPS on my cellphone when I’m going somewhere that I’m not familiar with, and I f ind it extremely helpful, because I don’t have a very good sense of direcction! Guess what, electronic maps have never disappointed me.
2. How did you learn to use (or read) a map?
Well, we had geography class when we were little, and all kids needed to learn basic survival skills, like how to read a map and tell the direction. Using a map came naturally to me since I could use nearby landmarks to determine my position
3. Do you prefer to use electronic maps or those made of paper?
I would say I prefer using electronic maps, simply because electronic maps are much easier than paper maps. Actually, you can download electronic maps on your cellphone or in a car, which is something that paper maps can’t really do. Also, electronic maps have more functions, like telling you the best route to avoid bad traff ic.
4. (In your city) have you ever asked others for directions?
I ask other people for directions fairly often. I mean, electronic maps are handy, but they are not perfect. It’s not a bad thing to ask for help because getting a little advice can save a lot of time getting lost and wandering around. I’ve always found people rather helpful whenever I’ve asked them how to get to my destination.
