In a cold winter, a couple had to move out fromthe luxury villabecause of bankruptcy. The husbandworked day and night to supportthe family but withno care of his wife. So she thought, “He doesn’tloveme any more; he cares about his business, not me.”
One day, she began to take a bath; he stoppedher at the door, “Letme take it first, okay?” “Why notlet me shower first?” sheasked.
“I was tired, sweetie, you take it later, okay?” Shewas totallydepressed.
On a morose day, she found nothing to do andturned on his computer,a few words blurred hereyes… It was his diary:
Today, I was quite sad, she asked me why I wasalways taking thebath first, and I said to her, I wasexhausted. She was unhappy, inher mind, I treatedher not as well as usual, but how can I do? Iwas notas rich as before! We moved to this small apartment,therewas only a shower in the bathroom, it was socold to take a showerin such a freezing winter. 今天我很难过，她问我为什么总是我第一个洗澡，我对她说，我累了。她很不高兴，心里肯定觉得我对她没有以前好了，可我能怎么办呢？我没以前那么有钱了！我们搬到这个小公寓，浴室里只有一个花洒，在这么冷的冬天，洗个澡真是太冷了。但是我发现，如果有人先洗过的话，浴室就会稍微暖和一些。于是每次我都先冲进浴室。我想，当她洗澡时，浴室会暖和一点儿，温度至少能提高1℃、2℃或者3℃。现在，我不能给她舒适的生活，不能带她去高级餐厅，不能为她买昂贵的衣服，但至少我能给她1℃的爱情。
